What is ACA/Obamacare?

Affordable Care Act (ACA)

The comprehensive health care reform law enacted in March 2010 (sometimes known as ACA, PPACA, or “Obamacare”).

Two of the primary goals:

1) Make affordable health insurance available to more people.

2) Support innovative medical care delivery methods designed to lower the costs of health care generally.

What is covered?

Coverage #1

Major medical insurance including ER services, hospital coverage, lab work, specialist doctors, etc.

Coverage #2

Dental, vision, and life insurance plans available

Coverage #3

Free wellness coverage: annual physical exams with blood work, colonoscopy, pap smears, mammograms, prostate screenings, etc.

When is Open Enrollment?

Open Enrollment for 2026 starts November 1st through January 15th. You'll need to be enrolled by December 15th for your coverage to start on January 1st 2026.
